What are your planters and vases made of?

Mostly stoneware, glazed and unglazed ceramic, and purple clay (Yixing) — a few decorative accents use resin or natural materials like river rock. Each product page lists the exact material.

Do these have drainage holes?

It varies by style — check the individual product description. Many of our bonsai pots include a drainage hole; decorative vases generally don't.

Why do photos vary slightly from what I receive?

Every piece is handmade, so glaze, color, and shape vary a little from piece to piece. That variation is part of the material, not a flaw.

How do I clean them?

Hand wash only. Avoid sudden temperature changes, and handle unglazed clay gently since it's more porous than glazed stoneware.
